Relearning to Sing
For people and organizations on the edge of burnout, or already over it.
Burnout isn’t only a personal failing, and it isn’t only a system problem. It’s both, tangled together, and it rarely announces itself until something gives. I know, because I white-knuckled my way through it until the hard stop came.
There isn’t a clean five-step model for what comes next. This is for the messy, nonlinear, occasionally darkly funny work of naming burnout honestly and rebuilding something real.
Two Levels, One Problem
The Personal
Recognizing the signs before the collapse. Seeing the architecture of expectations you’ve built around yourself. Finding a way back to breath and bone.
The Systemic
Seeing how cultures quietly manufacture burnout, and what leaders can change so their people aren’t just surviving the organization.
In the Thick of It
Facilitated sessions for teams, leadership groups, and organizations. We name what’s happening, look at both the personal and systemic sides, and build a realistic path forward. In person or online, single session or series.

Part memoir, part practical guide, part argument that breakdown and breakthrough are the same event viewed from different distances. Also, in places, pretty funny. If you can’t laugh at the rubble, what are you going to do.
